| Well, my xanga friends..there aren't many of you left cuz most of you are now myspace friends. As sad as it is, I have learned to accept it. hehe So! Just to let you know that (ahem..official voice here) This sight will be dormant until further notice when some friend I know who doesn't have a myspace actually gets a xanga and shows intrest. Uhhh...yeah. that's it.

Quote for the Day: (No, I do not break tradition) ..Belgium. As we discover we´´ve taken a wrong trun, leading us through Brussels instead of around it, my mom says, "Oh, Andy. It's ok! It's an adventure!"
Dad: "I hate adventures." hahahahaha! poor dad! as he was panicking and pouting the rest of the family was cracking up! ahhh..that was great, though I think you need to travel with my parents before you can truly appreciate this quote.
| I just watched the musical version of "Les Miserables" last night and...wow. It was amazing. Thank you God for drama and Music!!!
Well, for all of you who care, Italy was amazing trip, although it was more like an interesting field trip than a vacation, but it was still pretty awesome. Rome's one of the coolest cities ever! Like, wherever you look there is something ancient or rich or impressive! And Italy's ice cream and pizza is just amazing!! haha! But I was really happy to get back to Spain where I could have a bed to myself, suffer in Spain's dry heat rather than Italy's humid heat (which is SO much worse!!), watch every world cup game in Spanish (even though I don't like any of the countries left...shoot!), and see all my friends again. But tomorrow I'm going to Conference and I won't be back for...a long time. Three weeks or something. So! Hope you guys are having an awesome time! Have a happy 1/2 birthday tomorrow, Mikayla...and everyone else who celebrates that day for some random reason...K, Love you all!

QFTD: "Without me his world will keep on turning, a world that's filled with happiness that I have never known!" Eponine in "own my own" form Les Mis. . Guess who plays her! Lea Solonga! The voice of Mulan! How cool is that?! I was really proud of myself for figuring it out.. hehe Man...she's amazing, and that song is just incredible..wow...
| Hey xanga buddies! hehe So, since I'm leaving for Italy tomorrow with my family, I was gonna be all clever and say good-bye in Italian for my title, but then I came to the realization that I know NO Itlian!! Except Pizza...haha! Man! It's just gonna be like ordering Weiner Schcnitzle in Vienna and not knowing a word of German! hehe Oh, well, it'll be interesting. So, yeah, I'm leaving tomorrow, gettinb back the 29th, then I'm leaving for a conference July 4th, getting back the 20 something...soo..yeah! Summer's all of a sudden looking not so short! But I'm excited for all our traveling and stuff.
O.k. So, since I know you all really care.. pictures of a sleepover at Emily's house!! YAY!...haha!
beautiful--the feet of a dancer! hehe oh, and btw, people, Emily said that I had a nice arch on my foot. :D Yeah, I know you're all jealous. I mean, it's not every day you get a comment like that... haha! JuhKuh
WELL..... looks like that's gonna be all for today, because my xanga is deciding it won't cooperate and let me put on more. Don't get too excited. Emily, dear, it's up to you now...or maybe all this is a sign from God that the world isn't ready for us yet. haha! Oh, and btw, Apollo 13 is like one of the most tense movies ever! I watched it for the first time this weekend and I found myself wanting to pray for those guys...hehe Later Gators!

Quote for the Day:
"Tears refuse to flow
The Ache refuses to leave
since we've said good-bye." -a Haiku I wrote just recently about saying good-bye. Though! I am done with them for this year! I said my last one today. yes!...well, it's not happy, but I'm done anyway.
| I have never cried a lot. It's not that I'm emotionless or that I want to be tough and hide my feelings. I just don't cry very easily. Instead I just hurt, but even that hurt takes a while to sink in when I say good-bye. For instance, I cried twice during graduation and that was during the ceremony, but while I was hugging people and saying good-bye, I didn't cry. It's so weird. But recently the departure of some people has really started to sink in. The departure of Josh and Jesse really hit me when I was at Mikayla's house on saturday. All the rooms were empty so there was this great, cathedral-like echo everywhere. So Mikayla and I tried to sing our Vienna songs and, well...the acoustics were great but it just sounded so flat without the guys, and we couldn't get through a whole song cuz we really needed them in parts. I just felt so...incomplete. And then I realized that we will never sing together again. Ever. All those hours of practicing and singing together are over and up and I can never hear us four singing together again. It's just so...painful to think about. We'll never be able to play the metro game or be weird downtown together or go to Starbucks... and it's just even harder since Mikayla's leaving too. I'll be the only one who went to Vienna left at ECA (at least for a year). I can never remenis at school about or trip, and I can never break out in song and hear the others jump in with their cool harmonies...why does realzation always hit when it's too late to do anything about it? Mikayla's departure sunk in the very day she left. I went to her myspace, and I saw all these comments about how everyone was gonna miss her, and it brought out my own feelings. But it all just kinda hit when I saw her countdown. for the last couple of moneths she's had a coundown for when she'd get to the states, and yesterday it said, "Countown's over! Horay!" And I was like, "You stupid thing! That's not happyy! Mikayla's in the statesfor a year now! Why do you have to be so happy?!" Then I realized how empty class is gonna be with out her and all her phrases that seem so normal now, like, "What the duce? Yellow face! Up the ying-yang. For Pity Idiot! Everyone and their mother...______(fill in the blank)age." When Joe and I were cleaning the Helin's basement I remembered all the parties and fun times we had down there, doing brilliant improve, eating, being weird, watching movies, talking for 3 hours on the walkie-talkies, and who knows what else. Then we finished mopping, closed the door, and I'll porbably never see that room again. It's all so soberenig. Then there's saying good-bye to Lynnette and Aaron, and Miss Dunkin later on...I hate it. I wrote this poem, trying to figure out which is worse-to have to leave or to be left behind. I still don't know. A lot of cool people have or are leaving me behind, but at least they left me behind with great friends here. And at least I'll never have to say good-bye to my best friend of all--Jesus. So, to all of you have have left or who are leaving: I love you all. Just because I didn't cry at saying good-bye does not mean that I won't miss you like crazy. Lots of Love...
Stephanie
